Highlights from the stimulus package passed by President Obama gave first time homeowners an $8,000 tax credit that does not have to be repaid. Accordingly, a first time homeowner can be defined as a person who has not owned a house within the last 3 years. This is sure to give our housing market a jump start for a great 2009!
