Not long ago, I showed a property to a couple I thought were the potential buyers. I received a call from the wife who asked me to show them the house the following day. When I arrived, both the husband and wife were there, but they also mentioned another couple would be arriving in 10 minutes. It turned out the 2nd couple were the potential buyers, and not the couple who scheduled the appointment. They were in fact friends who wanted the 2nd couple to become their neighbors. Isn't it interesting that first assumptions are not always correct. In real estate to be a true professional, one must know who the key players are in a real estate transaction.
