Many people contemplating selling their home during the holidays always ask "Is this a good time to list?" My answer is always a resounding Yes! During the Holidays, there are people being relocated that need a house before the school semester starts. Not only are these serious buyers, they are also on a short timeline to purchase. It's not unusual for relocating employees to tour homes during the long Thanksgiving weekend and purchase before they head back to their current residence. Another reason to list is also the supply of houses are lower during the holidays than anytime of the year. Fewer houses available to tour means that your house has a better chance of selling at this time.  As a seller, you might have the inconvenience of showing your house during the holidays, but remember these people are buyers not lookers
